Jared KF Jones - Artist Biography
Mission: "I write and sing songs to encourage, energize, and actively model a lifelong joyful relationship with Jesus Christ."
Following his 2022 radio debut with "Goodness of God (I Just Wanna Sing)", 2024 follow-up, “Lean (On Jesus)”, and most recent release, "You've Been There", Jared KF Jones creates music that bridges vibrant Pop and R&B sensibilities with kingdom-focused messages. Drawing sonic inspiration from pioneers like Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder alongside contemporary artists Tauren Wells, and Jonathan McReynolds, Jones spent years as the lead singer for the New England-based band SPLASH. He’s also served as worship leader and drummer at various churches. Beyond his independent releases, his songwriting and vocal production have earned placements on NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, BET, Hallmark, VH1, TLC, and Bravo.
Born in New Jersey and raised near Boston, MA, Jones moved to Tennessee in 2018. To further deepen his theological foundation for ministry and artistry, he will begin seminary studies in Spring 2027 to pursue a Master of Divinity (M.Div.). Jones currently resides in Manchester, Tennessee, with his wife, Melinda, and their three children.
"I gave my life to Christ at 8 years old. In the earlier stages of my life I was creating music, but not being fulfilled. I've always felt there was to be a greater purpose in creating music, not just creating another song for the sake of it. I prayed that God would tell me what my purpose was with music, and I heard in my spirit that I was to encourage. That He created me to encourage and build people up with music and messages from His Word."
